1. Overview
We want you to shop with confidence at Fone4u. This policy explains when and how you can return products and request a refund.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
2. Change of Mind (Online Orders)
- You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery (“cooling-off period”).
- After notifying us, you have another 14 days to return the item.
Items must be:
- Unopened, unused, and in their original seal-packed packaging
- Complete with all original accessories, manuals, and labels
Non-returnable items (unless faulty):
- Earphones or other hygiene-sensitive products once opened
- Software, digital codes, or downloads
- Custom repairs or services already carried out
Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned product.
3. Faulty or Incorrect Items
- Within 30 days of delivery: If the item is faulty or not as described, you can return it for a full refund or exchange.
- After 30 days (up to 6 months): We will first attempt to repair or replace the item. If that is not possible, you may be entitled to a refund or partial refund.
- After 6 months: You may still have rights under UK law, but proof is required that the fault existed at delivery.
Refunds are always made to the original payment method.
4. How to Return an Item
- Contact us at marketing@fone4u.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.
- We will provide you with return instructions and an address.
- Repack the item securely in its original packaging.
- Send the item back using a trackable delivery service.
Important: Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
5. Refunds
- Once we receive your return, we will inspect it within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
- Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or incorrect.
